Rebecca V. Northup-Scholl, "Two Shoes" 56 of Warwick RI, passed away Thursday, November 12, 2020. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Ormond Northup and Mary (Johnson) Straiten. She was the wife of Jay Scholl and mother of Jay Northup, Darlene Mitchell, Delores Scholl, Domonique Scholl, Jevon Scholl, Kerri Scholl, Alice Scholl, Marquis Scholl, and Corey Sampson. Rebecca was the sister of Delores Zuccarelli, Gloria Hazard, Ormond Northup, Florence Northup, Floyd Northup, Benjamin Northup, Loren Northup, William Northup, Grover Northup, Clifford Northup, Joseph Northup and the late Mary Robinson, Alice Robinson, Ahmend Northup, Darlene Northup and Leroy Northup. Mrs. Scholl left behind 22 grandchildren and a great granddaughter. Rebecca worked as a Supervisor at the Newport Marriott from 1987-2000. She was an expert at personal shopping and enjoyed bingo and gambling. Rebecca loved playing high low jack, spades and spending time with her family. She was the life of every party and had a heart of gold. Whenever anyone needed her, she was always there without hesitation. Rebecca blessed the lives of many people and will truly be missed.
